Project Summary

We have:

provided a Contextualised Energy Data Journey that demonstrates the flow of personal data such that it might be exchanged between organisations in a way that is agreeable to the individuals whose data it is
documented a , which delineates what organisations must ensure is done to ensure their handling of personal data is carried out in a way that the individuals whose data it is will be satisfied with and willing to consent to
interpreted from the requirements a Conceptual Solution as a proof of concept to demonstrate that it is possible to engineer data infrastructure that enables organisations to exchange personal data in ways that keep individuals informed and in control of the uses of their data as well as being compliant with UK law, like GDPR
documented a describing what steps we would take next to achieve the goals of:
- ensure consumers are informed about and in control of their personal energy data
- enabling consumers to benefit from better quality energy services in cases where they have permitted their personal data to be used by organisations in the energy sector
